Mr.Goodfish3.0 Learning Scenarios introduce responsible seafood consumption to children aged 5–7, 7–8, and 9–11 through age-appropriate activities: from early understanding of responsible consumption through simple discovery activities to exploring the journey of seafood from sea to plate, examining seafood systems, related careers, and the links between food, health, environment, and marine biodiversity. Each scenario includes clear learning objectives, subject links, and sustainability competencies, along with detailed step-by-step instructions, materials, and facilitation guidance. Educators also find further ideas to deepen the topics, discussion prompts, and suggestions for external contributors and real-world learning experiences.

7-8 years old learning Scenario

These activities help learners explore the journey of seafood from the sea to the plate, discover the diversity of seafood species available to eat, their origins, and different ways to prepare them. Learners identify different aquatic species and gain familiarity with marine biodiversity. Learners prepare and eat seafood under the supervision of an adult.
