Ingredients

  • A large piece of raw tuna
  • Olive oil
  • Green beans or peas
  • 5 tomatoes
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame seeds

Prep

1
Please note: This cooking method requires special care!
2
First and foremost, don’t be afraid to cut the tuna into nice, thick slices. Heat a skillet until very hot, add a drizzle of olive oil, and cook for 1 minute on each side.
3
For best results when cooking, the chef recommends taking the tuna out of the fridge about 15 minutes before cooking (just like meat).
4
And what goes well with tuna? Green vegetables like green beans or peas are perfect. And let’s not forget tomato slices—and to season it all, soy sauce and sesame seeds, which go together perfectly!

Warning! If you plan to eat raw, marinated, or undercooked fish, be sure to freeze the product for at least 7 days in a household freezer before eating it. Otherwise, the recommended cooking time is at least 1 minute at an internal temperature of 60°C.
