New members join the Mr.Goodfish team

2 August 2022

Mr.Goodfish Project Manager: Alizée HACHE

After five years with the Mr.Goodfish team, Estelle SOULET stepped down from her position in early July.

Following this, Alizée HACHE joined the team to take over various initiatives with the upstream sector of the industry. She is specifically in charge of relations with fishermen, large retailers, and fish wholesalers. Her scientific background will enable her to work on seasonal recommendations while supporting members and partners on all issues related to resource conservation. A real asset for the Mr.Goodfish program.

Mr.Goodfish Project Manager – Mediterranean: Tom BISCERE

Tom joined the Mr.Goodfish team in February of this year. He promotes the program in the Mediterranean to both industry professionals and the general public. He holds a Ph.D. in marine biology, which gives him a deep understanding of the challenges involved in preserving marine resources. However, he is no stranger to the difficulties faced by those in the fishing industry on the ground, having worked several seasons in a fish market himself. He is now the primary point of contact for members in southern France.

Coordinator for the Brittany/Atlantic Coast: Jérôme NICOL – SASU CADK

Jérôme NICOL has many years of experience in the seafood industry. Today, he is notably supporting the development of the Ty Pesked cannery to promote the species caught by the vessels of the APAK fleet. Given his involvement in the industry and the Lorient area, it was only natural that he joined Mr.Goodfish in late 2021 to expand the initiative in Brittany/Atlantic. He is specifically responsible for organizing the committees that establish fishing quotas for this region, raising public awareness about resource conservation in an objective manner, and fostering collaboration among industry stakeholders to implement and uphold sustainable fishing practices and responsible consumption.
