La Récré Verte

6 May 2026

The diversity of our partners is our strength!
This season, we’d like to introduce you to an organization that recently joined the program: the
“La Récré Verte” association.

Based in Lille, the association aims to raise awareness among children ages 3 to 11 about ecological transition and sustainable development (economic, ecological, and social aspects). The teams primarily work in schools but also at after-school centers and Educational Success Programs.

The activities are designed to fully immerse the children thanks to a small, child-sized mobile grocery store called “L’Épicerie de Paulette et Ahmet.” Children learn through active learning, meaning they learn by doing. Depending on their age, they’ll participate in several small games, all centered on sustainable development. Topics include zero waste, waste sorting, balanced breakfasts and lunches, understanding food labels, local and sustainable consumption, and the seasonal availability of fruits and vegetables

In addition, La Récré Verte is creating a map of places where children and their parents can continue practicing sustainable development on their own, once our activities in the workshops are complete.

During the activities, children can (re)discover certification labels. In this context, the association aims to promote local labels; this is why they turned to our program. Through Mr.Goodfish, La Récré Verte can raise awareness among children and their parents about sustainable fishing. Furthermore, thanks to the provided materials, they will be able to create new educational games focused on the marine world.

Depending on the time of year, when strolling along the beaches of our various coastlines, you may spot clusters perched on the rocks.
