Digitization and Sustainability with ProcSea

6 May 2026

“Becoming a partner in the Mr.Goodfish program was a natural choice for us, as it allows us to best support industry professionals in their digital transition and the implementation of their sustainability initiatives,” explains Eloïse LEMAIRE, Partnership Manager at ProcSea.

Founded in 2016 by Renaud Enjalbert and Florian Dhaisne, the Rennes-based company ProcSea spent four years developing a technology platform in the form of a B2B marketplace specializing in seafood products. Today, ProcSea is changing course and becoming the digital partner for the seafood industry by making its 100% SaaS software available to professionals (Software as a Service—a subscription to remote software that can be installed on the company’s IT hardware).

ProcSea’s mission is to help simplify interactions among industry stakeholders to address today’s challenges and prepare for the future.

Renaud Enjalbert, co-founder and CEO: "We want to work to support the industry in its digital transition and help professionals develop a new model and new modes of communication. In a world where companies use technology to connect, communicate, operate, and collaborate more effectively, the seafood industry still has a long way to go. But the will and the initiatives are definitely there!"

Adopting a sustainable approach is essential today. According to the Ministry of the Sea, the sustainability goal is to have 60% of stocks assessed as healthy by 2022 and 65% by 2023—one of the criteria of the Mr.Goodfish program. By partnering with the Mr.Goodfish program, ProcSea offers a solution to help professionals achieve this goal. We also support them in improving their procurement and sales processes, inventory management, and data structuring—all to enhance communication and ensure greater transparency. Seafood products listed online are thus tracked throughout the entire supply and sales chain. This enables professionals to:

  • Make purchases and sales of Mr.Goodfish-certified and/or labeled sustainable seafood,
  • Select products based on data analysis by season, supplier, species, etc.,
  • Offer alternatives recommended by Mr.Goodfish, thereby better meeting consumer expectations.

Through this partnership, we are reinforcing the idea of building a collaborative and collective industry, where all links in the chain interact with one another, with the goal of preserving fishery resources.
