Women's Rights Day

6 May 2026

To mark International Women’s Day, the Third Way Collective for Responsible Agricultural Sectors is hosting its first webinar on the theme “Women Farmers and Fisherwomen: Women at the Heart of the Sustainable Transition.” Women now account for one-third of the workforce in agriculture and fisheries. Among them, some are choosing to adopt more sustainable production practices. The Collectif de la Troisième Voie des Filières Agricoles Responsables invites you to meet five of them during its first digital conference, moderated by Sophie Franco, on Monday, March 8, 2021:

  • Aurélie LEGER, a grain farmer involved in the CRC® supply chain (Vienne)
  • Florence HAFFNER, a pig farmer involved in the "Bleu Blanc Coeur" initiative (Meurthe-et-Moselle)
  • Reinette MICHON, a beach fisher involved in the Mr.Goodfish program (Somme)
  • Sylvie CATHELAIN, president of Fruits Rouges & Co, involved in the "Demain La Terre" initiative (Aisne)
  • Emmanuelle ROZE-CHAPUZET, co-founder of LOU Légumes for the Vignerons Engagés label (Ille-et-Vilaine)
