The Sea Festival

6 May 2026

If you’re from the Opal Coast, you’ve probably already heard of the Fêtes de la Mer!

The festival, held in Boulogne-sur-Mer this year from July 13 to 16, stretched from Quai Gambetta to the far end of the Bassin Napoléon and, as it does every year, offered a wide range of activities and insights into the maritime world.
This is an event not to be missed if you’re visiting the Opal Coast. The program features entertainment, meetings with professionals and scientists, tours of fishing boats, and sea excursions on historic sailing ships.

This event takes place every two years in Boulogne-sur-Mer.
