The winner of the Mr.Goodfish contest

6 May 2026

This summer, we’re pleased to introduce the winner of the first edition of our cooking contest, held last June: Chef Christophe PIROTAIS.

Christophe PIROTAIS has been working in the restaurant industry for twenty years now. During his training, he completed his apprenticeship at Michelin-starred restaurants, such as Le Clarance in Lille. More than just a job, cooking is a pleasure and a passion for him, and he believes it’s important to share it with others.

To that end, Christophe PIROTAIS opened, with his wife, the restaurant l’Épicurieux near Lille, where his goal is to offer customers simple, local ingredients—but presented in a different, innovative, and gourmet way!

His passion, combined with his love of a challenge and his desire to champion the cause of seasonal fish, led him to participate in and win the first edition of the Mr.Goodfish cooking competition. The contest, held near Nausicaà, further fueled his desire to compete in other competitions.

Would you like to taste Chef Christophe PIROTAIS’s dishes?
He welcomes you to his restaurant at
5 rue Mermoz – Place Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil – 59480 Illies.
