“Davigel is one of the leading distributors of fresh and frozen seafood products for the foodservice industry in France. Deeply committed to preserving marine resources for years, they have built partnerships to promote the best supply chains, avoid the worst, and improve the rest by investing in projects to enhance fisheries.

For its line of fresh fish sourced from the Boulogne and Lorient fish markets, Davigel has joined the Mr.Goodfish program to:

  • promote the fresh, local, and seasonal fish in their range, in addition to MSC or GlobalGAP certifications
  • support customers in the Hauts-de-France region who wish to feature fresh fish on their menus, in institutional or commercial catering

This partnership began with a pilot program from October 2018 to February 2019 in the Hauts-de-France region; if successful, it will lead to an expansion of the partnership across all of France and the entire Sysco France group, following the merger between Davigel and Brake France.”
