Through four dedicated areas, visitors will be able to learn about the ministry’s missions and discover the initiatives and projects of numerous stakeholders in the maritime sector.
Discover:

  • The “Génération mer” area, featuring fun and educational activities on protecting the marine environment;
  • The “La Mer embauche” area to discover or rediscover maritime careers and training programs;
  • The “La Mer à table” area to sample seafood specialties and products;
  • And the “Agora” area, featuring exhibitions, immersive visual experiences, performances, conferences, and debates.

“La Mer en tournée” is a traveling village that will be set up in several cities across France to raise public awareness of maritime issues. This initiative is part of the Year of the Sea, announced by the President of the Republic, with a major highlight being the organization of the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC-3), to be held in Nice next June.
