La d\u00e9carbonation des bateaux est devenue un enjeu majeur dans la qu\u00eate d’un avenir durable pour le secteur maritime. Alors que les oc\u00e9ans sont vitaux pour le commerce mondial et jouent un r\u00f4le crucial dans l’\u00e9conomie mondiale, il est imp\u00e9ratif de r\u00e9duire l’empreinte carbone de cette industrie pour att\u00e9nuer les effets du changement climatique et faire face aux enjeux futurs.<\/span><\/p>\n

De nombreuses r\u00e9glementations sont aujourd\u2019hui mises en place pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer cette d\u00e9carbonation, notamment l\u2019Accord<\/a> de l\u2019Organisation maritime internationale<\/strong><\/a> visant \u00e0 r\u00e9duire de moiti\u00e9 les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre.<\/span><\/p>\n

Les bateaux sont majoritairement d\u00e9pendants des combustibles fossiles, ce qui induit une \u00e9manation d\u2019importantes quantit\u00e9s de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre.<\/span><\/p>\n

De nombreuses approches sont aujourd\u2019hui abord\u00e9es pour adopter des solutions plus respectueuses de l\u2019environnement. Parmi celles-ci les sources d\u2019\u00e9nergie alternatives comme les moteurs \u00e9lectriques, les propulsions v\u00e9liques ou encore l\u2019utilisation d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne, de biocarburants.
